• CNN's extended coverage of the Heaven's Gate mass suicide. Perhaps the deepest and most extensive resource available on the Web.

• New York Times extensive coverage of Heaven's Gate is indexed at this link. Another excellent source.

• PBS News Hour Transcripts of Jim Lehrer interviews reveals that this trusted news source doesn't always provide depth and insight.

• People Magazine Fairly typical People fare. Bottom of the front page provides links to Time Magazine, CNN, Reuter's News Service and other news resources. Brief sketches of many who took their lives is interesting.

• Slate's take on the suicide; the viewpoint of a purely Internet-based news magazine. Less information here, but an interesting viewpoint nonetheless. (Slate is now a subscription service, so you can't access this unless you are a subscriber)
