Jehovah's Witness Literature

Pallet's of Jehovah's Witness' literature stacked at their warehouse in Solnechnoye.

The Jehovah's Witnesses import over 90 tons of literature each week for distribution all over Russia and the former Soviet republics. The Society now publishes The Watchtower regularly in Russian, Ukrainian, Armenian and East Armenian, Estonian, Georgian, Kirghiz, Latvian, Lithuanian, and Ossetian.

This literature directly attacks the fundamentals of the faith. Articles regularly challenge the Trinity, the Deity of Jesus Christ, salvation by faith alone, and the reality of Hell. Other churches, such as mainline Protestant churches, are called the whore of Babylon.

The abundance of literature is a key factor in making the Jehovah's Witnesses one of the fastest growing religions in Russia. There are over 250,000 active members in Russia who regularly spread the groups doctrine by going door to door passing out the Society's literature and offering free home Bible studies. Through such activities thousands more are being influenced by their destructive doctrines. In fact, in 1998 attendance at the annual Jehovah's Witness' memorial service exceeded 600,00!
